磷酸是一種中強酸，揮發性極低，因而磷酸溶液超聲波清洗過程中沒有傳統酸洗方式伴隨的嚴重酸氣污染問題。目前清洗液中磷酸的回收利用率可達到85%以上，配置壓濾機后理論上僅清洗后的沖洗廢水需要處理（廢清洗液再生，壓濾后固體廢物排出存放、液體復用），排放廢水經CaO中和后可達國家二級以上污水排放標準，因而采用磷酸溶液超聲波清洗污染量很低。
